Giuliana and Bill Rancic welcomed their first child Wednesday night.
Edward Duke Rancic was born at 10:12 p.m.in Denver, Colorado. The little boy, born via gestational carrier, weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces.
"Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives," Giuliana tells E! News, confirming the arrival. "Thank you so much to everyone who supported us."
"We are so in love with the little guy already!"
The labor was just over four hours and went smoothly and relatively quickly, with both Giuliana and Bill Rancic in the delivery room throughout.
The couple, whose long journey to become parents has been well documented, couldn't hold back tears of joy the moment that their son arrived.
The Rancics are "beyond elated" and couldn't believe that Edward - who is their biological child, even though a surrogate carried him - is here.
Bill cut the umbilical cord minutes after the baby was born, and Giuliana was the first to hold her son for a long while, then gave him to Bill.
The new parents both fed their baby, who they say had a big appetite, and share with us that he is doing very well and has had his first bath.
Bill announced his son's birth on Twitter saying:
"The 'Duke' has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words...We did it!"
The Duke's arrival comes just in time for the proud parents' fifth wedding anniversary on September 1. Appropriate! Congratulations!
